Tina, Carlos boss said …

The most important customer is always the one in front of you and not the one who might come along in future.

What means service … ?

David: Tina, Carlos Chef said, he has gone to a restaurant with a friend lately and they only got offered a table in the corner, though the nicest tables were still available.

Tina: Then he clearly did not reserve, or he is not known in the restaurant.

David: Carlos also said, he did not reserve, but he expected a better service though. Tina, what exactly is service about?

Tina: Service is about serving a customer, making the customer feeling good, taking care of your clients to assure they are comfortable and their needs are satisfied.

David: ….so, if Carlos Chef did not feel comfortable there, the restaurant’s workers did not assure his well-being? Aren’t all clients equally important?

Tina: Well, generally they are, but it happens that some service providers think there are still ‚better‘ customers coming along……..

David: … someone with more money or who seems tob e more important……. I thought the most important customer is always the one in front of me and not the one who might come along in future…
